Tim Lincecum failed to provide much length in Thursday's loss to the A's, surrendering four runs on seven hits over three innings.
Lincecum managed six innings of one-run ball in his first start with the Halos, but start No. 2 proved less successful. Three of the four runs on his line scored when the veteran right-hander coughed up a three-run homer to Marcus Semien in the second inning. Lincecum managed just two strikeouts on the evening. Once The Freak puts in a few more starts, the shape of his season will start to become more clear. As is, he offers little fantasy appeal to those outside of very deep AL-only formats. And even then, don't expect miracles. Lincecum will continue to work back into the flow of the season in a home start against the Astros next time out. Jun 24 - 1:14 AM
