Braves activated RHP Jordan Walden from the 15-day disabled list.

Walden, out since May 11 with shoulder inflammation, was cleared to return after he tossed a scoreless inning in a rehab appearance Monday with Triple-A Gwinnett. He returns to a 4.85 ERA and 16/3 K/BB ratio over 13 innings this season. May 29 - 2:58 PM

No word on how or when the injury occurred, but oblique strains usually require some extended rest. Gattis has been one of the best stories in baseball this season, coming out of nowhere to hit .252 with 14 home runs and a .894 OPS in 53 games. 	6	Brandon Beachy D.L. An MRI on Brandon Beachy's elbow taken Saturday showed no structural damage. Beachy was scratched from his scheduled start against the Mets with tenderness, but the MRI showed only fluid and no damage to the elbow itself. That's good news, as it just requires rest. The Braves aren't hurting for a starter at the moment, so they'll give Beachy all the time he needs as he continues to work his way back from last year's Tommy John surgery. Jun 15

	2	Jonny Venters D.L. Jonny Venters underwent Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery on Thursday afternoon. It's the second time he's had the procedure in his baseball career. Venters can now be ruled out for the remainder of the 2013 season and is also likely to miss the first couple months of the 2014 campaign. It's obviously a pretty big loss for the Atlanta bullpen. 	3	Eric O'Flaherty D.L. Eric O'Flaherty will undergo Tommy John surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn left ulnar collateral ligament. It was inevitable after an MRI over the weekend revealed the bad news. In addition to obviously missing the rest of this season, O'Flaherty will likely be sidelined for the first couple months of the 2014 campaign, as well. May 20

	6	Cristhian Martinez D.L. Cristhian Martinez (shoulder) still doesn't have a timetable for his return. The Braves reliever has been sidelined since April 12 with a right shoulder sprain, and apparently it was serious enough that the Braves still don't have any idea when he might be back. The right-hander had a 3.91 ERA with 65 strikeouts in 73 2/3 innings last year. May 4
