J.A. Happ was handed a tough-luck loss Friday after tossing seven innings of one-run ball against the Rays.
Happ gave up just two hits and one walk while striking out seven. The lone run scored on a solo homer from Ryan Hanigan in the third inning, but with rookie Nate Karns dealing on the other side, it was enough to put the southpaw in line for the loss. Happ now sits at 9-10 a 4.28 ERA on the year. He'll get the Orioles next on the road. Sep 12 - 10:09 PM
