Johnny Cueto gave up four runs and 12 hits in five innings, but got the no-decision in a 5-4 win over the Padres.
As was the case for most of the season, Cueto failed to keep hitters off balance, and gave up plenty of baserunners while failing to miss bats. Cueto might be the poster child for how poorly things went for the Giants in 2017. He's certainly a bounce back candidate when you consider his previous success, but he's no longer a young pitcher, so there's a chance his best days are behind him. Oct 1 - 6:21 PM
