Todd Frazier hit his 40th homer off the Rays' Eddie Gamboa during Wednesday's win.
It was the only run of the game for either team. Frazier has done absolutely nothing offensively besides hit home runs this year, but it's pretty much impossible to be a bad player while hitting 40 homers and playing quality defense. Frazier's OPS currently stands at .788. Right now, Albert Pujols is the only player ever to hit 40 homers and finish with a sub-.800 OPS; he came in at .787 last year. Sep 29 - 1:42 AM
