Chris Gimenez homered twice and drove in four runs as the Twins topped the Mariners 6-2 on Thursday.
It's the first career two-homer game for Gimenez, who has played in a total of 319 games since debuting with the Indians in 2009. He did have four RBI once before, that on Aug. 27, 2010 against the Royals. The outburst probably won't get him additional at-bats. As Jason Castro's backup, he'll continue to play versus the occasional left-hander. Jun 15 - 4:58 PM
