Ben Revere stole the show against his former team in victory Thursday, going 4-for-6 with a triple, two runs scored, and a steal against the Twins.
Perhaps Revere only needed to return to Target Field to dig out of his season-long slump. Over the three-game series, he went 8-for-14 to raise his average from .244 to .266. Revere's 15th steal places him fifth in the National League in that category.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has opted for John Mayberry, Jr. against the right-hander Wily Peralta. He's batting second Thursday.

An X-ray on Ben Revere's left elbow came back negative.
Revere banged hard into the outfield wall after making a terrific catch during Monday's game. He was able to stay in but is very sore. He'll wait to see how he feels Tuesday before deciding if he's ready to play that night.

Ben Revere went 3-for-5 with a double as the Phillies beat the Marlins on Tuesday.
Revere scored two runs in the game while raising his average to .260. He was removed from the leadoff spot after his early struggles, rendering him relatively useless for fantasy purposes. He's begun to hit more in May and manager Charlie Manuel rewarded him by hitting him second Tuesday. He may finally be starting to show why the Phillies traded for him this past offseason.

The move clears a spot for Michael Martinez on the 40-man roster. It won't have any impact on Halladay's timeline, as he had shoulder surgery earlier this month and is unlikely to make it back until late August at the earliest.
