Anibal Sanchez worked six innings of one-run ball Wednesday in the Braves' 2-1 win over the Giants.
Sanchez got stuck with a no-decision because Atlanta didn't grab the lead until the top of the ninth inning. He issued five walks and gave up six hits but operated well in situations that required damage control as San Francisco left a whopping 25 runners on base over the course of the nine-inning game. Sanchez will carry a sharp 3.01 ERA into his next start at home against the Cardinals. Sep 12 - 6:50 PM
