Twins placed OF Aaron Hicks on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring.
Hicks is likely to be sidelined for around three weeks. The 23-year-old rookie center fielder is batting just .179/.249/.326 in 55 games this season but he does have six home runs, 19 RBI and four stolen bases. Oswaldo Arcia was called up in a corresponding move.

Aaron Hicks went 2-for-6 with a home run and scored the game-winning run in the 14th inning as the Twins bested the Brewers 6-5 on Tuesday.
Hicks' home run, his fifth of the year, came in the fourth inning, 10 innings before he crossed the plate on an Eduardo Escobar sacrifice fly to give the Twins the lead for good. He also robbed a homer in the game, bringing back a Carlos Gomez drive in the second inning. The 23-year-old has shown flashes of potential this year but is still hitting just .161/.238/.303 through 45 games.

Ramirez has been out since late May but is no longer experiencing concussion-related symptoms. He should rejoin the Twins before the end of the month.
