Pablo Sandoval was a snootful Sunday, finishing 2-for-2 with a home run, four RBI and two walks in a decisive win over the Rockies.
Sandoval reached base in all four of his plate appearances on the afternoon, raising his spring average to .306 with a .885 OPS. The homer, a three-run shot off Yency Almonte in the fifth inning, was his second in Cactus League play. Given his spring performance and the fact that he'll cost the Giants virtually nothing, the odds of the Kung Fu Panda breaking camp with the club appear to be improving with each passing day.
