Tigers activated LHP Phil Coke from the 15-day disabled list.
Coke was placed on the DL on May 1 with a strained left groin, but returns to the Tigers' bullpen as soon as he's eligible to do so. Luke Putkonen was optioned to Triple-A to make room for him on the active roster. The 30-year-old lefty has been highly ineffective in his first nine appearances, posting an 0-3 record, 8.31 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.

Phil Coke (groin) is expected to begin a minor league rehab assignment Monday with Triple-A Toledo.
Coke recently threw a bullpen session without any issues, and likely won't need a lengthy rehab assignment. Assuming he avoids setbacks, he could return from the DL on Saturday when first eligible.

Tigers placed LHP Phil Coke on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 26, with a left groin strain.
Coke attempted to throw Tuesday, but apparently didn't feel much in the way of improvement. He'll now get some extended rest while the Tigers will add right-hander Jose Ortega to their bullpen.

Coke wasn't available to pitch Friday, and it's not clear how long he'll be sidelined. With Al Alburquerque (hip) also injured, the Tigers may be forced to make a roster move.

Austin Jackson (hamstring) is unlikely be activated from the disabled list when he's eligible Monday.
Jackson landed on the disabled list earlier this month with a strained left hamstring, but we haven't heard much about his progress. That's probably because there's little to update, as Chris Iott of MLive.com hears that he isn't currently doing any physical activity. Fantasy owners will have to hope that changes real soon.

It's the first time he's thrown from the bump since being shut down over the last week. Dotel will eventually need a rehab assignment, but it's not clear when it will begin. He'll likely return sometime next month if all goes well.
