Danny Valencia went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI against the Rangers in a loss Monday.
Valencia is the hitter the A's wanted Billy Butler to be when they gave him a three-year deal prior to 2015, and the A's have responded to it by cutting back his playing time against righties lately. It doesn't make a lot of sense to us. Valencia isn't great against righties, but neither are the alternatives the A's possess. Ideally, Valencia would get traded this week. Jul 25 - 11:33 PM
