Moscoso had been claimed off waivers from the Blue Jays earlier this week. He figures to join Iowa's rotation.

Cubs claimed RHP Guillermo Moscoso off waivers from the Blue Jays.
Moscoso had an ugly 6.12 ERA over 50 innings with the Rockies this season, but he could make the Cubs' Opening Day roster as a reliever. The 29-year-old had a 3.38 ERA in 128 innings with the A's in 2011.

Blue Jays claimed RHP Guillermo Moscoso off waivers from the Royals.
Moscoso, 29, has bounced around in recent years, pitching for the A's in 2011 before landing with the Rockies last year. The Royals claimed him off waivers in November but released him Wednesday. In 50 innings last year, the right-hander had a hideous 6.12 ERA.

Guillermo Moscoso has been claimed off waivers by an unnamed team.
Moscoso, who was placed on release waivers by the Royals Wednesday, has until March 20th to accept the claim or elect free agency. The righty had a 6.12 ERA over 50 innings last season.

He's also throwing from 120-130 feet and is expected to start swinging a bat early next week. Clevenger is on the 60-day DL and won't be eligible to return until mid-June. He should have no trouble being ready at that time, though he's not a given to return to the big club.

Cubs manager Dale Sveum said Tuesday that Arodys Vizcaino (elbow) is a couple weeks away from appearing in a game.
He is presumably referring to an extended spring training game. Vizcaino, who will continue his rehab with the Cubs rather than at the club's spring training facility, is expected back around midseason.
