Bryce Harper defeated Kyle Schwarber in the finals to win the 2018 All-Star Game Home Run Derby.
You didn't think anyone else was going to win at Nationals Park, did you? Harper smacked 13 home runs in the first round to eliminate Freddie Freeman and another 13 in the second round to take down Max Muncy. Schwarber batted first in the finals and set the bar high with 18 bombs, and it looked like it might hold up after Harper started slowly. However, Harper tied Schwarber with a flurry of dingers in the final 90 seconds and took advantage of 30 seconds of bonus time by banging one out to dead center field to win it. He became the third player ever to win the Derby in his home park. Jul 16 - 10:39 PM
