It's not clear whether he'll receive an invite to spring training. Durango batted .289/.352/.335 with no homers and 46 steals at Triple-A in the Braves' organization this season.

Braves signed OF Luis Durango to a minor league contract.
Durango made just seven plate appearances in the major leagues this past year and registered a weak .640 OPS across 108 minor league games. He'll be organizational outfield depth for the Braves in 2012.

Astros sent OF Luis Durango outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Durango successfully cleared waivers after being designated for assignment last week. The speedy outfielder is 1-for-6 in two games with the Astros this season.

Astros designated OF Luis Durango for assignment.
The move was made in order to clear a roster spot for J.B. Shuck, who has been called up. Durango was claimed off waivers from the Padres in late June but has a good chance of clearing them this time and remaining in the organization.

Perez also sat out Tuesday after bruising his right hip Monday while sliding into a dugout post at Minute Maid Park. The Royals are hoping that he will be able to play in Thursday's series opener against the Angels.

Jarrod Dyson has been diagnosed with a mild high ankle sprain and is expected to be sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks.
The 28-year-old speedster had been off to a decent start this season, hitting .268/.286/.561 with a homer, eight RBI and six stolen bases through his first 41 at-bats. While the timetable for recovery is short, any injury to the ankle is something to very closely monitor for a player such as Dyson who derives all of his fantasy value from his speed. David Lough could be worth a look in very deep leagues while Dyson is out.
