Wily Peralta pitched decently in Sunday's win over the Phillies, surrendering four runs (three earned) on seven hits over six innings.
Peralta struck out five and (in a nice change of pace) did not walk a batter on the afternoon. He allowed an RBI single to opposing starter Jerad Eickhoff in the first inning, a Maikel Franco RBI single in the second inning and a pair of RBI doubles to Cameron Rupp and Cesar Hernandez in the sixth to account for the scoring on his line. Peralta will carry a distressing 7.40 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 18/12 K/BB ratio (over 24 1/3 innings) into his next scheduled start, a home date with the Marlins. Apr 24 - 5:26 PM
