Blake Parker allowed three hits and a run in the ninth inning but still managed to secure the save against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.
He allowed hits to the first three batters he faced and also issued an intentional walk. He benefited from a runner getting nailed at the plate on a potential sacrifice fly or else this could have been a bad blown save. Parker started the season as the Angels' closer but quickly lost the job. He's pitched well of late and that combined with Keynan Middleton's injury and poor performance from the rest of the bullpen has led to him regaining the ninth-inning role. He should continue to see most of the save chances moving forward despite today's shaky outing. May 23 - 11:56 PM
