Mariners activated LHP Charlie Furbush from the 15-day disabled list.
Furbush has been out of commission since mid-July, so the Mariners will use him in low-leverage situations initially. The 25-year-old lefthander owns a 2.17 ERA and 0.80 WHIP in 37-plus innings this season.

Charlie Furbush (triceps) will make another rehab appearance with Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday before the Mariners decide if he's ready to return.
They want him to be 100% before returning to the bullpen, and they haven't felt that he's quite ready after his first three appearances. Expect this to be his final tune-up before returning to the M's bullpen after the weekend.

Charlie Furbush (triceps) will make another rehab appearance with Triple-A Tacoma.
Mariners manager Eric Wedge previously indicated that Furbush's second appearance on Monday would be his last one, but he's decided the lefty isn't quite ready. "He feels pretty good. He's just not where he needs to be before he gets back up here," Wedge said. "It's a little bit different when you've got a veteran guy that has been through it or done it before. This is kind of his first go-round with something like this."

Charlie Furbush (triceps) will make his second minor league rehab appearance Monday with Triple-A Tacoma.
Furbush allowed one run on two hits over one inning in his first rehab appearance on Friday, but notched three strikeouts. Mariners manager Eric Wedge said that he should be activated from the DL if all goes well Monday.

If everything goes smoothly, the center fielder should be back with Seattle early next week. He has been on the disabled list since April 23 with a hamstring strain.

Felix Hernandez wasn't sharp Sunday, allowing six runs -- five earned -- over just five innings in a loss to the Indians.
King Felix recorded eight strikeouts, but he allowed eight hits and walked a pair. The Mariners' ace left his last outing with a back issue, so it's possible it was an issue for him again today. As long as he's healthy, Hernandez is obviously a good bet to bounce back against the Rangers his next time out.

Aaron Harang (back) threw a bullpen session Sunday with no issues and is in line to start on Tuesday in Anaheim.
Harang missed his last outing with some minor back stiffness, but he's alright now. The big righty holds a 7.30 ERA and 1.42 WHIP over five starts this season but does boast a 23/5 K/BB ratio over 24 2/3 frames.

Pryor now won't be eligible to return until mid-June, but he wasn't going to be ready before then, anyway. The hard-thrower recently resumed his throwing program but has yet to test things out from a mound.

Kinney has been on the shelf all season because of a stress reaction in his left shoulder and rib cage. He's likely to spend around two weeks in the minor leagues.
