Royals optioned RHP Louis Coleman to Triple-A Omaha.
Coleman had a decent 3.71 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 65/26 K/BB ratio in 51 innings last season with Kansas City. He should see plenty of action in the majors this year.

Royals recalled RHP Louis Coleman from Triple-A Omaha.
The Royals called up Coleman and Nate Adcock for Wednesday's game while Vin Mazzaro was sent down to the minors and Mitch Maier was designated for assignment. Coleman has a 4.91 ERA and 23/13 K/BB ratio over 22 innings in the majors this season and will pitch in middle relief.

Royals optioned RHP Louis Coleman to Triple-A Omaha.
The move clears the way for Irving Falu to be added to the active roster. Coleman gave up five runs over two innings in his most recent appearance on Monday and has a 4.91 ERA and 23/13 K/BB ratio over 22 innings with the Royals this season. He'll likely be back at some point this summer.

Coleman was sent down last week, but he's allowed to return due to the injury to Chris Getz. The 26-year-old right-hander has a 3.15 ERA and 18/12 K/BB ratio over 20 innings with the Royals this year.

Salvador Perez (hip) is not in the Royals' starting lineup on Wednesday night against the Astros.
Perez also sat out Tuesday after bruising his right hip Monday while sliding into a dugout post at Minute Maid Park. The Royals are hoping that he will be able to play in Thursday's series opener against the Angels.

Jarrod Dyson has been diagnosed with a mild high ankle sprain and is expected to be sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks.
The 28-year-old speedster had been off to a decent start this season, hitting .268/.286/.561 with a homer, eight RBI and six stolen bases through his first 41 at-bats. While the timetable for recovery is short, any injury to the ankle is something to very closely monitor for a player such as Dyson who derives all of his fantasy value from his speed. David Lough could be worth a look in very deep leagues while Dyson is out.

The Royals are hopeful that the lefty will be able to throw five innings on the anniversary date of his surgery (June 13), though it will be later than that before he's ready to join the rotation.
