Diamondbacks outfield prospect Brandon Jacobs went 2-for-3 with a double and two walks on Saturday for High-A Visalia.
He is hitting .271/.340/.479 with three home runs and a double on the season in his return to High-A. Jacobs is a tremendous athlete who has struggled to turn his athletic ability into baseball production. After a breakout 2011, he struggled for the next two seasons, which included getting traded twice (from the Red Sox to the White Sox to the Diamondbacks) in a five month span in 2013. If he can cut down on his strikeouts, he could turn into a middle of the order force with 25-plus home run potential. Apr 20 - 10:12 AM
