J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-4 and whacked a three-run homer as the MLB All-Stars lost to Samurai Japan 12-6 on Saturday.
He went yard off reliever Yu Satoh with Robinson Chirinos and Juan Soto along for the ride. Unfortunately Samurai Japan was ahead 12-3 in the eighth inning at the time of the blast, which merely served to make the game a bit less lopsided. Japan has a 2-0 lead in the series. They will play again on Sunday in Tokyo and then the series will move to Hiroshima. Realmuto is rumored to be available on the trade market this winter and could net the Marlins quite a haul.
