Andrew Heaney pitched well despite some fourth-inning hiccups in Sunday's win over the Rangers, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings.
Heaney struck out four and walked one on the day. He allowed a run in the third inning, then completely lost it in the fourth, which went as follows: Prince Fielder hit-by-pitch, Mitch Moreland lineout, Elvis Andrus single, Josh Hamilton strikeout, Ryan Rua walk, Tomas Telis run-scoring hit-by-pitch, Delino DeShields pop out to end inning. Lucky ducky that things didn't end in shambles. Since making his season debut on June 24, Heaney's pitched very well and holds a 1.79 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 31/5 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings.
