Diamondbacks prospect Stryker Trahan went 3-for-4 with a double and a home run for short season-A Hillsboro on Saturday.
Trahan has made seven starts at catcher, two starts in right field, and six starts as the DH during his time in the Northwest League. After a brutal 95 games with Low-A South Bend, Trahan has hit well during his time with Hillsboro, hitting .273/.355/.636 with six doubles, one triple, and four home runs. More importantly, he has six walks and eight strikeouts over 15 games. After being "permanently moved" to the outfield in the spring, Trahan's ultimate defensive home is, once again, undefined. However, if he hits, his bat could carry him as a slugging catcher or outfielder. Sun, Aug 17, 2014 11:00:00 AM
