Blue Jays prospect C A.J. Jimenez went 4-for-5 with three doubles and an RBI on Sunday for Double-A New Hampshire.
With the four-hit performance, the 24-year-old is now batting .316/.365/.491 with eight extra-base hits (one home run) through 16 games. Jimenez was limited to only 67 games last season following his recover from Tommy John surgery in 2012, but he didn't skip a beat at the plate by posting a respectable .738 OPS across three different levels. He's known more for his glove than bat, and his spot on Toronto's 40-man roster means he'll likely see time in the major leagues later this season. May 12 - 11:09 AM
