Erik Johnson was sharp in earning a no-decision against the Tigers on Saturday, surrendering two runs on five hits over 6 1/3 innings.
Johnson struck out four and walked three over his 6 1/3 innings of work. He made just one mistake in the ballgame, as Miguel Cabrera socked a two-run homer in the sixth inning to account for all the scoring on his pitching line. With this one in the books, the 25-year-old right-hander finishes out the 2015 season with a 3.34 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 30/17 K/BB ratio across 35 innings. With just six starts this season (and five in each of the last two seasons), Johnson's yet to see an extended rotational run. Maybe 2016 will prove different. Oct 3 - 10:36 PM
