Rangers prospect Brett Nicholas was named the MVP of Saturday's Fall Stars Game in the Arizona Fall League after swatting a pair of home runs in the West squad's 9-2 victory over the East.
The 25-year-old became the first player in the eight year history of the game to hit multiple home runs, a feat that was replicated later in the game by Mariners prospect Stefan Romero. Upon completion of the Arizona Fall League, Nicholas plans to head to the Dominican Winter League where he'll catch full-time in an attempt to increase his versatility. Sun, Nov 3, 2013 04:58:00 PM
