Jesse Hahn made a statement in his season debut Saturday, holding the Astros scoreless over 6 2/3 innings in the Athletics' 2-0 win.
Hahn gave up just three hits and walked two in the game. He began the season at Triple-A Nashville after struggling in spring, but he posted a 2.04 ERA in four starts in the minors prior to being recalled. With Chris Bassitt on the disabled list, Hahn will keep his rotation spot for at least the next few weeks. If he pitches well, his stay in the A's rotation will very likely extend beyond Bassitt's return. Apr 30 - 6:50 PM
