Alec Asher lasted only two-thirds of an inning and allowed five runs, but took a no-decision as the Phillies still beat the Mets on Wednesday.
Asher allowed three hits but also walked two and uncorked two wild pitches. Two of those three hits were home runs: a three-run shot to David Murphy, and a two-run blast by Michael Conforto. Asher hasn't looked major league-ready in six starts, as he ends his 2015 season with a 9.00 ERA, a 1.70 WHIP, and a 15/10 K/BB ratio over 27 innings. He'll get a chance to redeem himself in spring training, but Asher will likely start next season with Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Sep 30 - 11:17 PM
