Mitch Garver tripled in the Twins' only two runs Thursday against the Indians.
Oddly enough, three of Garver's four extra-base hits as a major leaguer have been triples. In Triple-A this year, he had 29 doubles, 17 homers and no triples. Last year, he had 30 doubles, 12 homers and no triples between Double- and Triple-A. The Twins don't seem to have a lot of faith in Garver anywhere on the diamond, but he can hit. He should be on the roster as a reserve for the wild card game next week, but he's iffy to make the cut for the ALDS if the team advances. Sep 28 - 3:09 PM
