Mitch Garver enjoyed a huge night at the plate on Friday against the White Sox, going 4-for-5 with a career-high six RBI.
The Twins poured it on early, with Garver collecting all four of his hits and all six of his RBI through the first five innings. He had two singles and two doubles along the way. Garver actually started at first base in the second game of Friday’s doubleheader, his first time back in the starting lineup since suffering a concussion back on September 12. It’s unclear if he’ll go back behind the plate this weekend, but his performance on Friday was encouraging. Sat, Sep 29, 2018 01:27:00 AM
