Matt Kenseth earned his first career Sprint Cup series win at Charlotte on May 28, 2000.
He is one of four drivers to win all three Sprint Cup series races at Charlotte Motor Speedway along with both Nationwide Series events. Kenseth has an average start of 18.1 and an average finishing position of 14.4 at Charlotte. He has two wins, seven top-five, and 13 top-10 finishes at Charlotte in the Cup series. Kenseth is currently second in the Sprint Cup Series driver point standings.-Roush Fenway Racing

Fastenal will sponsor all three Roush Fenway Racing entries in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27.
The Fastenal paint schemes for Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth will also incorporate the "NASCAR Unites – An American Salute" red, white and blue theme. This is not the first time Fastenal has sponsored the RFR fleet. Last year all three RFR Nationwide Series Fords displayed the Fastenal colors at the Charlotte race in May. The Blue Team placed first (Kenseth), second (Edwards) and fourth (Ricky Stenhouse Jr.).-Roush Fenway Racing

Matt Kenseth has started every All-Star race (11 events) since his sophomore season.
Kenseth won the All-Star event in 2004. He has two poles, four top fives and eight top 10’s in All-Star competition. He led a total of 47 laps in All-Star action, including 38 in 2007. This weekend in the All-Star Race, Kenseth will pilot the No. 17 Fifth Third Bank Ford Fusion. He is currently second in the Sprint Cup Series driver point standings.-Roush Fenway Racing

Fifth Third will be the primary sponsor in the Sprint All Star Race in Charlotte, NC on May 19, the Quaker State 400 in Sparta, KY on June 30, the Crown Royal’s "Your Hero’s Name Here" race in Indianapolis, IN on July 29 and the Pure Michigan 400 in Brooklyn, MI on August 19.-Roush Fenway Racing
