Saturday night at Charlotte, Tony Stewart, driver of the No. 14 Bass Pro Shops/National Wild Turkey Federation Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing, joins the exclusive club of 15 by making his 15th appearance in an All-Star event – the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.
The NBA has Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett and Shaquille O’Neal on its list with 15 All-Star appearances. Baseball greats such as Brooks Robinson, Ozzie Smith and Yogi Berra each played in 15 All-Star Games. And proving how elusive 15 is, no NFL player has played in 15 Pro Bowls. The only one to come close is Merlin Olsen with 14. Along with the his 2009 win, Stewart has scored an impressive eight top-fives and earned an average finish of eighth in 14 career All-Star Race starts.-True Speed Communication

Tony Stewart, a winner of 47 career Sprint Cup races, has made 28 Sprint Cup starts at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway where he has a win and nine top-five finishes – six of which have been second-place efforts.
He also owns 13 top-10 finishes and has completed all but 121 of the 5,300 laps that have been run since 1999 for a lap completion rate of 97.7 percent. On the flip side, Stewart has a total of six DNFs (Did Not Finish) at Talladega – five of which occurred in the closing laps.-True Speed Communication

Tony Stewart has one pole, two wins, six top-fives, 12 top-10s and has led a total of 727 laps in his 22 career Sprint Cup starts at Texas.
His average start is 18.2, his average finish is 12.7. Prior to Stewart’s first Sprint Cup win at Texas, he scored a victory in the International Race of Champions in April 2006. He has made three IZOD IndyCar Series starts at Texas. He started on the pole twice (June 1997 and 1998) and second once (September 1998). While he never finished an IndyCar Series race at Texas (he suffered engine failures in June 1997 and September 1998 and mechanical troubles in June 1998), he still led 208 of a possible 624 laps (33.4 percent). Ironically, 208 was the exact number of laps in each of Stewart’s three IndyCar Series races at Texas.-True Speed Communication

The STP Gas Booster 500 will mark Tony Stewart’s 29th Sprint Cup start at Martinsville.
He has three wins, three poles, seven top-threes, nine top-fives, 15 top-10s and has led a total of 1,208 laps in his 28 career Sprint Cup starts at Martinsville. His average start is 13.0, his average finish is 13.7 and he has a lap completion rate of 96.1 percent. Stewart scored his first career Sprint Cup pole at Martinsville in just his eighth career start. His lap of 19.875 seconds at 95.275 mph on April 16, 1999 set a new track record. When Stewart earned his second Sprint Cup pole at Martinsville on Sept. 29, 2000, he broke his own track qualifying record with a time of 19.855 seconds at 95.371 mph.-True Speed Communication
