Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) is pleased to announce the continuation of a partnership formed last season with TeamSLR (Scott Lagasse Racing) to field the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro in at least 15 races this season.
Scott Lagasse Jr.'s sponsorship with the Boy Scouts of America and HybridLight is a continuation from his previous efforts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Teaming up with Lagasse will be crew chief Brad Parrott, who has worked with some of the most successful teams in NASCAR.-140 BUZZ

Scott Lagasse Jr., a Florida native, will finish this season in his home state and begin next season even closer to his St. Augustine home when he enters the season-opening Nationwide Series race in Daytona in February.
Driving the No. 8 Team SLR Chevrolet, Lagasse Jr. will have the benefit of having Daytona 500 winning crew chief Tommy Baldwin serve as his crew chief in his second Nationwide Series race at the south Florida track. Lagasse Jr. and Team SLR have established an alliance with Tommy Baldwin Racing to assist with the transition into the NASCAR Nationwide Series.-Performance PR Plus

Scott Lagasse Jr. will return to the Nationwide Series at Kansas Speedway this Saturday in the Kansas Lottery 300.
Hybridlight and The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) made their debut with Lagasse in September at Kentucky Speedway where a tire issue relegated the team to a 26th-place finish. With a technical alliance with Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) Scott Lagasse Jr. and TeamSLR will continue their transition into the Nationwide Series. Hybridlight/BSA's next stop will be at the season-ending race at Homestead-Miami Speedway paving the way for a minimum 15-race schedule with Lagasse in 2013 and full NASCAR Nationwide Series support in 2014 and 2015.-Performance PR Plus

Scott Lagasse Jr. runs quickest Nationwide Series qualifying lap of the go-or-go-homer drivers.
Of the teams required to make the field on speed, his lap of 171.135 mph in the No. 8 Chevrolet was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 21st in the lineup for the Nationwide Series Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway.
