Travis Pastrana will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Darlington Raceway this Friday night.
Last season, he made his second overall NNS start at the 1.37-mile track, finishing 17th. Pastrana earned his first career NNS pole last weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, but finished 36th in the Aaron’s 312 after a mid-race accident took the No. 60 Ford Mustang out of contention. Travis Pastrana won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 22nd Annual Aaron's 312 with a lap of 54.255 seconds, 176.500 mph.
This is the No. 60 Ford Mustang driver's first pole in 17 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. It is his second top-10 start in 2013. This is Pastrana's first start at Talladega Superspeedway.

Travis Pastrana will make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway.
He earned a top-10 in his first start of the season at the circuit’s other restrictor plate track, Daytona International Speedway (DIS). The Car: The No. 60 team brings Chassis RK-690 back to the track this weekend. This is the same chassis that Pastrana drove to 10th at DIS in the 2013 season-opener. Pastrana is now 13th in the NNS point standings.-Roush Fenway Racing

For the first time this season, Travis Pastrana heads to a track that he has competed at before in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
He made two starts at Richmond last year, including his first overall NNS start last April and his first start for Roush Fenway Racing, last September. He finished 25th and 17th in those races, respectively. Pastrana also has two starts in the K&N Pro Series East at RIR, finishing 33rd in 2011 and 23rd in 2012.-Roush Fenway Racing
