Andre Iguodala was non-committal about his future with the Nuggets.
"I know what type of potential this team has, so that won't weight heavily on my decision," he said. "I definitely want to win a championship. At the same time, it's a business, but I don't think it's a factor." Iguodala is expected to opt out of his current deal in search of a multi-year deal, and the Nuggets have already said it's a priority to bring him back.

Nuggets GM Masai Ujiri referred to Andre Iguodala's omission from the All-Defensive team as "mind-boggling."
Iguodala wasn't on the first- or second-team. In fact, he's never made the either team in his career -- which is interesting because the voting is done by the league's coaches. The wings that were voted on this year were LeBron James, Tony Allen, Avery Bradley and Paul George. "It's just shocking that he continues to be overlooked as a world-class defender in our league," Ujiri said. "I honestly thought he should be in the conversation for defensive player of the year, let alone first or even second team all-defense."

GM Masai Ujiri said Thursday he's "very optimistic" the Nuggets will be able to keep Andre Iguodala in Denver.
Iguodala will likely opt out of the final year of his contract, but it's no secret Ujiri wants to re-sign Iggy for the long term. The Nuggets will likely have to pony up in money and years to keep Iguodala, who would have plenty of willful suitors if he made it onto the open market.

Iguodala is expected to opt out of the final year on his deal, but Denver wants him back. "Andre was a great fit, we felt," Ujiri said. "He brings every aspect of the game to the table, be it defending, passing, leadership and scoring sometimes. For us, he grew with the team. I think he saw that. He’s a good priority for us."

Danilo Gallinari will undergo his second knee surgery in three weeks.
Gallinari had his meniscus repaired three weeks ago, and now he'll undergo a surgery to repair his torn ACL. Since Gallinari won't have his ACL surgery until June, there is virtually no way he'll be ready for the start of the season and we could be looking at a scenario where the forward is out until around Christmas or potentially the start of 2014. It's a situation fantasy owners need to watch closely during the offseason.
