Thaddeus Young was efficient on his nine field goal attempts, making eight of them for 18 points to go with 13 boards, one assist and four steals vs. Washington Friday.
He also made both of his free throws, which has been a bugaboo for him all year. If it wasn't for the season free throw shooting of 56.7 percent, he could be considered as a stud in standard fantasy leagues this year.

Thaddeus Young, who was 1-of-9 for three points and three boards on Tuesday, bounced back for 28 points, eight rebounds and a steal on 14-of-20 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
That's more like it. Young's dominance may have also hurt teammate Spencer Hawes, who had his second bad game in a row, and as we said last night, Young just had a bad day on Tuesday.

Thaddeus Young hit just 1-of-9 shots for three points, three rebounds and two assists in Tuesday's loss.
He just had a bad night and should bounce back in his next one. But he couldn't have picked a worse time for this dud.

Thaddeus Young shot 9-of-13 from the field for 18 points with six boards, one assist and one steal in 41 minutes during 97-87 win over the Cavs on Friday.
He shot 0-of-2 from the line and dropped his season free throw shooting to 55.8 percent. Young is a career 70 percent shooter from the charity stripe, so his owners didn't see this horrendous drop-off coming. He still should be owned in all leagues.

Jason Richardson's knee surgery was called "Denovo surgery."
Denovo surgery is where the doctors take juvenile cartilage and implant it back into the damaged knees where there is a cartilage issue present. This was an alternative to micro-fracture surgery, which most fantasy basketball owners are all too familiar with at this point. Even without setbacks, Richardson won't be able to resume normal basketball activity until "late January-early February."

An NBA GM said that Andrew Bynum won't get more than a one-year deal.
This isn't exactly earth-shattering news on Bynum and conventional wisdom would suggest that most teams would be extremely apprehensive to sign him to a multi-year contract. He missed every game this year and over the previous five seasons, Bynum missed 26.0 games per season. A 25-year-old center already having serious durability issues is going to make it tough on his agent to get leverage in contract negotiations.
