According to the Miami Herald, the Heat want to see how Tyler Johnson and Josh Richardson perform during training camp before deciding on the future of Mario Chalmers.
Needless to say, Chalmers' summer has been really difficult. It sounds like the trade chatter has cooled for now, but that could quickly change if Johnson or Richardson impresses at camp. Chalmers is projected to be one of the first guards off the bench this season, but the uncertainty surrounding his future makes him a risky gamble in the later rounds of deeper leagues.
