Tyler Hansbrough sustained a mild ankle sprain during Friday's practice.
Hansbrough has until Sunday to get ready for Game 1 against the Hawks, and he's fully expected to play. The volume-shooting backup power forward wrapped the regular season with averages of 7.0 points and 4.6 rebounds and 16.9 minutes a night.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 13 points with nine boards, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes against the Mavericks on Thursday.
David West returned to the lineup, but Psycho T was able to turn in an efficient line. West didn't get his full workload, so Hansbrough owners that are on the fence with grabbing a hot free agent can probably make the switch.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 11 rebounds in another start for David West (back) on Monday.
In typical fashion Hansbrough did not have a steal or block, but he did get his scoring and rebounding numbers to where they need to be. It's been a while since we've gotten an update on West, but his status is a very iffy day-to-day right now.

Tyler Hansbrough finished Saturday's loss to the Bulls with seven points, six rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.
David West (back) is not expected to play on Monday, which keeps Hansbrough's short-term window propped open. He was coming off three consecutive double-doubles but the streak ended with tonight's slugfest, which the Pacers nearly won after a late four-point play by George Hill (11 points, two assists).

Sidelined
George Hill (concussion) has been cleared to play in Game 6 on Saturday and will start with no limitations.
He remained symptom-free the whole way following the NBA's Return-to Participation Exertion Protocol and team physicians cleared him to play tonight. The Pacers were a different team with Hill out in Game 5, shooting 36.2 percent from the field while not taking care of the ball with 19 turnovers. D.J. Augustin will move back to the to the bench.

Danny Granger (knee surgery) said he'll "hopefully" be ready for training camp.
Granger's knee injury was not cut-and-dry. He didn't realize there was a problem until training camp, tried to come back unsuccessfully and ended up playing in just five games. Now that he's had surgery, the situation is even more hairy. Once a fantasy darling thanks to his versatile skill set, Granger will come with a ton of red flags in 2013-14 fantasy drafts. He turned 30 years old on Saturday.
