The Indianapolis Star believes the Pacers need a "true point guard" on the team.
George Hill is the starter, but he's not a "true" point guard. D.J. Augustin struggled during his tenure with the Pacers and may or may not be back with the club, and it wouldn't be surprising if the Pacers sought to move on and find a new backup behind Hill.

George Hill was a ghost in Thursday's 90-79 loss to the Heat, failing to make any of his four shots for one point with no boards, four assists, three steals and three turnovers in 37 minutes.
He was terrible in Game 1 with just five points in 45 minutes, but he's been productive in the three games in between, scoring 18.6 points in those contests. Hill has been much better at home throughout the year and he'll need to continue that trend on Saturday for Game 6.

George Hill said after scoring 18 points in Game 2 that he needs to stay aggressive in order for the Pacers to "thrive."
Hill's first priorities are to protect the ball and initiate the offense in a timely manner, both challenging tasks vs. the Heat, and overall he's done a fine job guiding the offense in the playoffs as most of the Pacers' shots have come from 3-point territory (27.6 percent) or within eight feet of the hoop (42.7 percent). Even better, his recent toe injury didn't slow him down when the Pacers stole home court advantage on Friday.

George Hill had a nice bounce-back game on Friday, shooting 6-of-8 from the field for 18 points with five boards, three assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
Hill was on a milk carton in Game 1 and his improved play went a long way in the win tonight. He had struggled with Miami even before this game, shooting 33.3 percent from the field in his three regular-season matchups. Hill's big toe injury didn't seem like an issue and he'll be good to go for Sunday.

The Pacers are "leaning toward" keeping Danny Granger off the trade market, sources told ESPN.
The Pacers could bring back Granger and go all-in for one season after narrowly missing out on advancing to the NBA Finals, or the team could look to deal him in the offseason. Granger will be involved in a plethora of trade rumors until he's either dealt or kept, so don't expect those to fizzle or die down any time soon.

Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) came off the bench for three points and four rebounds in 12 minutes on Saturday, as the Pacers won Game 6 by a final score of 91-77.
Hansbrough rolled his ankle late in Game 5, which caused some concern, but he played the most minutes of any reserve and should be ready for Monday's decisive game. Sam Young made a rare 3-pointer in his seven minutes of action, Ian Mahimni played just six minutes as Roy Hibbert avoided foul trouble, and D.J. Augustin, whom the Heat look to exploit at both ends, had just two points in 10 minutes.
