The initial plan was to see if the injury would heal without surgery and the team would reevaluate him in three weeks, but it's been nearly four weeks and we still haven't heard if Anthony will need surgery. It could be seen as a positive sign, but given the Knicks history of how they disclose injuries, we can't say for certain.
