Warriors waive F Omri Casspi.
This move has been expected to happen ever since Steph Curry went down, especially with how well Quinn Cook has played. This is also the second season in a row Casspi had to be waived to get a healthy body on the roster. He’s been a victim of circumstance, but Casspi can still play.
Apr 8 - 12:29 AM
Omri Casspi didn't make the two-game road trip with the Warriors due to his troublesome right ankle.
He was out on Tuesday and this means he's not likely to play on Thursday at Indiana, either. The Warriors are getting healthy and are just trying to get ready for the playoffs, so getting Casspi's ankle right before they start will be a priority.

Omri Casspi (right ankle) will remain on the sidelines for Tuesday's game against the Thunder.
This will be his ninth straight game on the sidelines, and Casspi getting ruled out a full day in advance suggests he's not close. Kevin Durant will be very busy tomorrow night with Andre Iguodala (knee) looking unlikely.

Warriors PR on Twitter
Omri Casspi (right ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Suns.
Casspi will miss his eighth consecutive game due to a sprained right ankle. He was listed as questionable for this one, but just isn't quite ready to return. With Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson healthy back to playing, even when Casspi is healthy enough to play he'll be fighting for scraps and will have minimal fantasy appeal.

Stephen Curry
Sidelined
Steve Kerr said that Stephen Curry (knee) won't be coming back "anytime soon."
Kerr did say that Curry has been coming along well, and that he looked good at Saturday's practice, but he still has "a few limitations" that he's trying to work through. The good news is that he hasn't been experiencing any pain in his left knee, and while Kerr did say he's "on track," he wouldn't commit to an official timetable. He's scheduled to be re-evaluated on April 27, but it doesn't sound like he'll be ready for Game 1 of Round 2.

Sidelined
Patrick McCaw (back) still can't sleep at night due to the pain he's in as a result of his injury.
McCaw's injury was incredibly scary and he isn't even expected to be reevaluated until the beginning of May, so we'd be surprised to see him return during the playoffs even if Golden State again makes it to the Finals. McCaw also admitted that he's still haunted by the devastating fall and is just glad he can still walk after temporarily losing sensation in his lower half, so the mental recovery aspect will be very real for the second-year pro as well.

Andre Iguodala
Sidelined
Andre Iguodala (bruised left thigh) will play in Game 2 vs. the Spurs on Monday.
Iguodala started Game 1 because coach Steve Kerr "wanted to put [the Warriors] best defensive lineup on the floor from the beginning." Considering the Warriors rolled to a 113-92 victory, it would be surprising if Kerr didn't stick with Iguodala again tonight, especially since the leg injury isn't a real concern.

Sidelined
David West (sprained left ankle) is available to play in Game 3 on Thursday.
West turned his ankle while landing on LaMarcus Aldridge's foot during Game 2, but the injury won't cost him any time. Even at full strength, though, West isn't a compelling DFS option.
