Kurt Thomas (foot) is undecided about playing next season.
"I'm just concentrating on trying to get healthy," he said. Thomas is off crutches, and the 40-year-old isn't closing the door on returning to basketball next season. "I definitely miss being around the guys. I miss being a part of the playoffs. And I just miss being around basketball. I love the game," Thomas said.

Knicks waived F/C Kurt Thomas.
The Knicks could no longer afford to keep a roster spot for Thomas, who is dealing with a stress reaction in his foot and will likely need surgery. They are going to sign Solomon Jones after James Singleton couldn't get clearance from his Chinese team. Thomas, who will turn 41 in October, has likely played in his last NBA game.

The Knicks are expected to waive Kurt Thomas as early as Thursday.
An expected move, Thomas is out for the season with a foot injury and the team will sign James Singleton to replace him.

The Knicks will release Kurt Thomas in order to make room on the roster for James Singleton.
Thomas has been hurt all year with foot issues and will have surgery next week. His career is likely over at age 40, as well. The Knicks need healthy bodies with Tyson Chandler and Kenyon Martin ruled out for Thursday, so Singleton should see a noticeable role in the rotation right off the bat.

Sidelined
Raymond Felton (ankle) is "fine," and is expected to play in Game 6 vs. Indiana after receiving treatment.
Felton's been dealing with the ankle issue since the beginning of the month, but he doesn't anticipate taking any time off and that lines up with both the Knicks' expectations and ours. Felton will play through almost anything he can, but the ankle may limit what he's able to do in terms of his mobility on Saturday.

Tyson Chandler had his wrist taped at practice Saturday but said it's "fine."
"Fine" is the same way Chandler described his back and neck, which have hindered him for much of this postseason. We have no doubt that Chandler will be in the lineup for Game 6, but we also don't think he's anywhere close to as healthy as Chandler and the Knicks say he is. The Knicks must win Game 6 to avoid elimination.
