Zach Randolph scored 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting with 16 rebounds, one steal, and three blocks as the Grizzlies forced a Game 7 with their win over the Clippers on Friday.
Randolph developed a free throw shooting problem late, hitting 2-of-6 overall on the night. The Grizzlies were lucky to get out of the Staples Center with a win after turning the ball over 20 times to the Clippers' seven, but they got enough solid play out of Mike Conley (13 points, nine assists, three treys), Marc Gasol (23 points, nine boards), and Tony Allen (eight points, two steals, two blocks) to pull it out. Rudy Gay struggled hitting 5-of-14 shots for 13 points, and O.J. Mayo played just 18 minutes on a quiet four-point night.

Zach Randolph struggled in a start at PF on Sunday, making just 3-of-13 FGs to finish with six points, eight rebounds, one steal and three turnovers.
Z-Bo also did a couple of push-ups for no reason after a hard fall in the first half, when the Grizzlies seemed on their way to an easy win. Instead, they lost by a point in devastating fashion in front of a raucous/shattered home crowd. Game 2 is on Wednesday.

Zach Randolph will start Game 1 for the Grizzlies on Sunday against the Clippers.
"I wanted Zach to get an opportunity to start to see if he can get into a flow and into a rhythm," Lionel Hollins said. Z-Bo is no longer wearing his knee brace, and the expectation is that he'll move back into the starting lineup permanently with the playoffs set to begin. Randolph also said that he's in better shape, and he's happy to shed his brace because it "kind of limited" him. He had a double-double in 26 minutes on Thursday when he was running with the starting five.

Zach Randolph started in the Grizzlies' 88-76 win over the Magic on Thursday, scoring 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting with 12 rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes.
The Grizzlies secured home court advantage over the Clippers with the win, and if you're looking for the X-factor for their playoff journey -- it's the guy who looks like Eddie from

. We haven't seen anything to say with any certainty that he can turn on the switch, but we're nowhere near ready to rule it out. Lionel Hollins said he was contemplating whether to keep him in the starting lineup, with Marreese Speights (two points, two boards, 14 minutes) his likely replacement.
