Free agent CB Aaron Glenn will announce his retirement after signing a one-day contract with the Texans.
The 15-year veteran hasn't been more than a bit player since 2006. Glenn, a three-time Pro Bowler, spent the better part of his career with the Jets, but he's chosen to retire with his hometown team instead. He finishes his career with 41 interceptions and six TDs in 205 games.

Saints placed CB Aaron Glenn (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Glenn had been in and out of the Saints' lineup after originally getting hurt in Week 2. He appeared in four games and finished with eight tackles. New Orleans added DE Josh Savage to the roster in a corresponding move.

Saints CB Aaron Glenn suffered a left ankle injury in Sunday's loss to Atlanta and the team doesn't know how long he'll be out.
Glenn dealt with ankle problems early in the season. He was probably the favorite to take over at left cornerback after Mike McKenzie's season ending injury, but that job may now go to Jason David or Usama Young. Tyler Thigpen should have no trouble lighting up this secondary in Week 11.

Arian Foster (calf) says he'll "more than likely" be ready for training camp.
It's notable because Foster is suggesting there's a chance he
won't
be ready for camp, even if it's a slight one. It was widely assumed when Foster went down in late May that he'd be 100 percent for camp, which is still over a month away. Foster has spent time in a hyperbaric chamber in an attempt to speed his recovery. It sounds like he would have missed multiple games were it the regular season. Foster has missed just three contests since 2010, but his increasing propensity for leg ailments is a concern going into his age-27 campaign.

Posey is rehabbing on the side field just five months after tearing his Achilles' in the Divisional Round. He's still a good bet to begin the year on the PUP list, but it's clear Posey will get on the field at some point in 2013.
