James Jones caught six balls for 89 yards in the Packers' Week 17 win over the Lions.
Jones finishes the regular season with 38 catches for 635 yards and seven TDs. He's easily the best No. 4 receiver in football, and it's a shame no receiver-needy teams saw fit to make Jones a starter during the last free agent period. The Packers have a bye next week before their first-round playoff game.

James Jones caught four passes for 50 yards and two touchdowns in Green Bay's Week 16 win over the Bears.
Invisible in his first start in place of Greg Jennings in Week 15, Jones came to play tonight. He flashed his electrifying after-the-catch ability in turning a would be 10-12 yard gain into a 32-yard reception late in the second quarter before scoring five plays later. On his second touchdown, he walled off CB Zackary Bownman with an impressive back-shoulder grab. With Jennings all-but-certain to miss his third straight game in Week 17, Jones will be a high-upside WR3 in fantasy leagues that have yet to conclude.

James Jones managed just two receptions for 17 yards against the Chiefs in Week 15.
The good news is that Jones made an impressive catch in traffic for a first down and appeared to be playing the majority of snaps. The bad news is that he was targeted just four times. While he should bounce back against the Bears in Week 16, Jones is going to be a high-risk fantasy option.

James Jones managed just two catches for 29 yards against the Raiders in Week 14.
Jones saw just three targets compared to Donald Driver's six and Jordy Nelson's seven. With Greg Jennings nursing a knee sprain, Jones should be owned in 12-team leagues. The Packers figure to use three-wide sets featuring Nelson, Driver, and Jones in Week 15.

Packers team physician, Dr. Pat McKenzie, is "hopeful" that RB Alex Green (ACL surgery) will be ready for training camp.
Already running four days a week, Green has graduated to "a little bit" of cutting. He's stayed ahead of schedule in his rehab all offseason. "My speed is picking up daily," Green said. "I'm definitely excited with where I'm at."

Packers coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged that TE Andrew Quarless (ACL, MCL surgery) will be "challenged" to be ready for training camp.
Quarless is a candidate to open the season on the PUP list. "Andrew, just from a timetable standpoint, is a question mark," McCarthy admitted. The Packers' top three tight ends to open the year should be Jermichael Finley, Tom Crabtree, and D.J. Williams. Quarless could reenter the mix around midseason.
