Keglar made 18 tackles in two seasons with the Titans before failing to make their final roster this year. He'll be used on special teams.

Titans signed fourth-round LB Stanford Keglar to a four-year contract. The deal includes a $385,100 signing bonus.
Keglar has an excellent build at 6'2/240 and started all four years at Purdue. He'll likely play special teams and back up the strong side in Tennessee.

Several charges against Titans fourth-round pick Stanford Keglar stemming from his college days are expected to be dropped.
Keglar was accused of battery, disorderly conduct, and false informing police following a Purdue bar fight. All he has to do is 20 hours of community service. Keglar will battle for a job behind SLB David Thornton this summer.

Titans fourth-round LB Stanford Keglar is awaiting trial on unresolved charges stemming from a March 2007 bar brawl.
He's accused of battery, false informing, and disorderly conduct. The incident ended in Keglar's Purdue teammate, Selwyn Lymon, being stabbed in the chest. Coach Jeff Fisher says the Titans were aware of it before the draft.

Sidelined
Speaking at Texans OTAs Monday, coach Gary Kubiak described WR DeVier Posey's Achilles' rehab as "ahead of schedule."
Kubiak did admit Posey is a candidate to open the season on PUP, although that decision will be made at a much later date. A 2012 third-rounder out of Ohio State, Posey will not be counted on for 2013 impact after a slow rookie year.
