Updating a previous item, Falcons SS William Moore was arrested on a simple battery charge for "grabbing a woman's shoulder."
Moore was booked into Fulton County Jail on Thursday, and he is set to appear in court at 11AM ET on Friday. The Falcons are aware of the situation and are in the process of "gathering information," but have "no further comment."

Falcons SS William Moore was arrested and charged with simple battery on Thursday.
Moore was booked into the Fulton County Jail, but there are no further details at the moment. The soon-to-be 28-year-old agreed to a five-year, $29.5 million extension last month. It's Moore's first run-in with the law since entering the league, so there's a possibility he could avoid suspension.

Falcons agreed to terms on a five-year, $30 million contract with SS William Moore.
The deal contains $14 million guaranteed, and it's a big keep for Atlanta. Turning 28 in May, Moore flourished as a movable chess piece in Mike Nolan's 2012 Falcons defense, setting a career high in tackles (75) despite missing four games. Durability has been an ongoing issue, as Moore has played just one full, 16-game slate in his career. Still a takeaway specialist when healthy, he has five forced fumbles and 11 interceptions over the past three years. A favorite of Rotoworld IDP guru Jeff Ratcliffe, Moore should be targeted as a borderline DB1 in 2013 fantasy leagues.

The Falcons have "ramped up" negotiations with free agents William Moore and Sam Baker.
Moore is the Falcons' top priority, but it remains unclear where Baker ranks. With the tackle market flooded with talent, it could be in the Falcons' best interest to let Baker test free agency and be greeted by soft interest.
