RB	1	Doug Martin Suspended Doug Martin suffered "minor cuts and bruises" in a Thursday car accident. Martin's car was hit after someone ran a stop sign. He needed stitches for a cut on his chin. In the midst of a hyped offseason, this should be the last we hear of Martin's accident. May 4
	2	Charles Sims Sidelined Bucs placed RB Charles Sims on injured reserve with a pectorals injury, ending his season. We didn't notice Sims get injured in the Week 16 meeting with the Saints, but he's not going to play Week 17. Coach Dirk Koetter said it's unclear if Sims will need surgery. Doug Martin was also excused from Wednesday's practice for an undisclosed reason, leaving Jacquizz Rodgers, Peyton Barber, and Russell Hansbrough as the Bucs' active running backs. Dec 28

	4	Jeremy McNichols Sidelined Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said fifth-round RB Jeremy McNichols will face "pretty good competition" to earn a roster spot. When asked how he plans to use McNichols, Koetter noted the rookie has yet to make the team before adding the Bucs "like the group we have in place here." Doug Martin's three-game suspension gives McNichols a good shot to make the squad, but it is far from a given he jumps Jacquizz Rodgers or Charles Sims. May 2
