ESPN New York confirms that Andre Brown is expected to be the Giants' goal-line back.
Brown seized the role last year, scoring eight touchdowns in just 10 games. Seven of those scores came in goal-to-go situations. Brown will serve as a handcuff to David Wilson, and will also give touchdown-seeking fantasy owners standalone value.

Giants re-signed RB Andre Brown to a one-year, $2.023 million contract.
Brown was never a threat to demand anything more than the one-year tender he received as a restricted free agent. He'll play this year out as the short-yardage thunder to David Wilson's lightning and then hit unrestricted free agency. Brown burst onto the fantasy radar with eight touchdowns in 10 games before breaking his leg last season. He projects as a handcuff that will hold some standalone value in touchdown-heavy formats.

Restricted free agent Andre Brown said Tuesday that his goal is to score 22 touchdowns this season.
Brown is clearly under the impression that he'll remain the Giants' goal-line back. "Third-down back, pass protection, goal line, short yardage – all that," he said. "I can't wait to do it." Last year, Brown scored eight touchdowns in 10 games before fracturing his fibula. Now fully healthy, he'll be an ideal complement to explosive feature back David Wilson.

Unsigned restricted free agent RB Andre Brown reported for the start of the offseason program Monday.
Per ProFootballTalk, Brown signed an injury protection agreement that allowed him to work out without a contract. His presence at the "voluntary" session is confirmation that his broken leg is fully healed and that he won't be making a stink about his one-year, $2.02M tender. Brown projects as the thunder to David Wilson's lightning in the Giants' backfield this season.

Giants FB Henry Hynoski has been diagnosed with an injured left MCL and chip fracture to his lateral plateau.
It's actually a positive revelation for Hynoski. When he went down during Wednesday's OTA session, it looked like Hynoski could have blown out his ACL or patella. Instead, he will undergo surgery Friday and has a realistic shot at being back for Week 1. Hynoski graded out as Pro Football Focus' fifth-best fullback in terms of lead blocking last season.
