Packers waived LB Diyral Briggs.
The Packers claimed Briggs off waivers from the Broncos last year and he went on to appear in both the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl as a special teamer. He's a borderline NFL player.

Packers OLB Diyral Briggs aggravated his ankle injury in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
It's not clear at this point how severe the injury is. Briggs has contributed on special teams for the Packers since being claimed off waivers from the Broncos earlier this season.

The Broncos had hoped to re-sign Briggs to their practice squad, but the Packers need healthy bodies at the position. Brady Poppinga is expected to join ILB Nick Barnett on I.R. this week.
