Packers signed LB K.C. Asiodu, formerly of the Saints.
A special teamer, Asiodu made only one appearance for the Saints last season after making 10 for the Rams in 2009. Still just 24, he has nine career tackles to his name. He's going to have a hard time cracking the Packers roster.

Saints signed LB K.C. Asiodu.
Asiodu was a candidate to make the Rams as a backup linebacker and special teamer, but he was released when he hit a snag in his recovery from sports hernia surgery. It appears that he's now back to full health.

Waived/injured Rams LB K.C. Asiodu had not fully recovered from a sports hernia, according to ESPN 101 in St. Louis.
It's a strange situation, as Asiodu had the surgery in February and participated in most of OTAs and minicamps. At the same time, it's a reminder that sports hernia surgeries do not involve easy recovery processes (take note, those planning to draft T.J. Houshmandzadeh or Devery Henderson). Asiodu will go on injured reserve once he clears waivers.

Rams waived/injured LB K.C. Asiodu.
A former undrafted free agent, Asiodu was trying to make the Rams as a reserve linebacker and special teamer. He did make seven tackles on kickoff and punt coverage last year, so his injury must have been fairly significant.

Brandon Marshall (hip surgery) is not participating in this week's OTAs, as expected.
Marshall underwent a scope in January and is not quite at 100 percent yet. Although it's his third procedure on the troublesome joint, no one around the Bears appears concerned. Marshall has missed just five games in his seven-year career and is coming off a sparkling 118/1508/11 campaign.
